Magnolia's Bayou & Game Festival

Want some good southern cuisine? Then maybe you want to check out Magnolias Southern Cuisine in Cambridge. This is a good time now are they are having a special Bayou & Game Festival from November 6- December 1. I have been here before and enjoyed their food. I especially like their occasional festivals that specialize in different foods, from crab to shrimp.

Here is a list of the special dishes for the Bayou & Game Festival.

Appetizers:
Alligators on the Bayou Crispy Alligator & sweet Corn Fritters served with a fiery Shallot-Tabasco dipping sauce. ($6.95)
Wild Boar Gumbo Served over white rice ($6.95)
S-Car-Go Snails Sautéed with lots of Garlic, Tomatoes, exotic Mushrooms and fresh Spinach served over a French bread crouton ($7.95)

Entrees:
Rack of Venison encrusted with Goat Cheese Garlic and Sage, served over smoked Ham Hock-Cabernet Sauce ($22.95)
Blackened Buffalo Filet Mignon Served over Worchester-Garlic sauce topped with fiery Raspberry compote ($24.95)
Bayou Platter Blackened Catfish, Alligator Fritters, Low Country pickled Frog Legs and a Crab Cake ($18.95)
